PipeUp 2010

I came home the other night to find that the cat had eaten my homework (or my artwork, to be more precise).  Thankfully, I had already transferred the image to my deck, ready to paint up for PipeUp 2010 – the last ever Paperhorse Studios exhibition.  Come along and celebrate the end of an era with a fine collection of decks by a plethora of Australian and international artists.

The smallest feline is a masterpiece.

So I was planning to tidy the lounge room the other night but I got overwhelmed by a desire to sew.  So I tracked down a great vintage dress pattern and some nice fabric and got started with cutting the pattern and fabric.

Unfortunately, a certain someone decided to get involved and suddenly sewing became a much more difficult pursuit…

The next night, I decided to work on an illustration for an upcoming exhibition  (info here).  However, I’ve come to realise that paper, too, is a cat’s best friend.

This evening I decided to have another crack at the whole cleaning business.  But once again…

All wrapped up.

But with a face as innocent as this, can you blame her?!

Darling.

Darling.

What a princess.
