I just finished the cross-stitch pattern designed by Gemma Sneddon of Radical Craft. Isn’t it lovely (in a subversive, socialist kind of way)?! I’ll have to frame it and hang it above the mantel piece!

I just wanted to share a beautiful blog I’ve been swooning over after it was mentioned by Ruby Chew in her wonderful blog of art, fashion and all things nice. It’s definitely worth a look for lots of vintage-inspired hairstyles, dresses and hazy summer photographs. Lovely!

As a sidenote, in one of the earlier posts in the Freelancer’s FashionBlog, the author writes about this image (amongst others) from an old issue of Italian Vogue. Isn’t it great? For some reason, all those different patterns remind me of Morris & Co., or some art nouveau design.
