These two ‘sculptural drawings’ are a quick preview of the installation I will be putting together for next week’s OBJECT exhibition (Paperhorse Studios, Rundle Mall, Adelaide). The installation will also include the Golden Koi shoes (as written about in a previous post) together with a variety of jewellery and wearable objects made from hand-illustrated heat-formed plastics.
The ever-inspiring Craftzine have been so kind as to feature my golden koi shoes on their site. Check out their wonderful work here. The online publication features daily updates on all kinds of creative projects, podcasts and tutorials, together with a community forum and blog.
These shoes will make up part of my contribution to next weeks one night event, ‘OBJECT’ at Paperhorse Studios. Commissions for similar work are available.
Sadly, this will be my last show as part of Paperhorse Studios. I will miss the studio kids dearly, and I look forward to having one last (big) send off. The exhibition will showcase the work of resident artists:
